FP1 French GP: Alex De Angelis on top

The first free practice session of the French GP of the MotoE World Cup 2020 at the Le Mans circuit was a learinig session for all the riders who tackle a wet track for the first time in 2020.
The riders who also compete in the EWC Endurance championship started immediately strong here. They raced the 24 Hours of Le Mans here just over a month ago, in particular the winners of the race (Josh Hook and Mike Di Meglio), the poleman Niccolò Canepa and the world champion Xavier Simeon.

Lap by lap, the other protagonists of the category also became familiar with the new track and gained the top positions, in particular Alex De Angelis (Octo Pramac MotoE ) who set the fastest laptime ahead of Xavier Simeon (LCR E-Team) and the leader of the standings Matteo Ferrari (TRENTINO Gresini MotoE).

Here the results of the session:

The next session is scheduled at 16:10 (local time). Here you can find the times of the French GP in Le Mans this weekend.
