Positive day for the LCR E-Team in Assen in the fourth round of the MotoE World Cup. Miquel Pons recovers from the last row up to tenth place while Kevin Zannoni collects again some points.
LCR rider Miquel Pons took 3th position after an excellent race, starting from the back of the grid. The Spaniard was able to move through the group after a very good start, overtaking five riders on the first lap. Pons was unable to go beyond XNUMXth but his fastest lap was only XNUMX tenths slower than that of race winner Eric Granado. An encouraging result, considering that Pons was in Assen for the first time.
Kevin Zannoni was also the author of an excellent race, managing to finish thirteenth and earning more points for the championship. The LCR E-Team rider showed a good pace, but admits there is still room for improvement for the second part of the season.

The report of the Dutch GP of the MotoE World Cup
Miquel Pons
“Well, we know that in a race of MotoE a comeback is very difficult, but we did it. We finished a tenth place. I pushed hard to overtake the other riders in the corners. I'm happy because I was just three hundredths from the best lap of the race, and this means that we have the pace to stay in the front”.
Kevin Zannoni
“It was a great race even though in the first laps I made some mistakes and some riders passed me. After that, I lost some time behind them but most importantly, I have a good feeling on the bike and I feel it’s a very good step forward compared to the last race. I’d like to thank my team for their work. We’ll improve for the next race in Austria”.
