FP1 results of the 2024 Dutch GP in Assen.
This weekend, the MotoE arrives in Assen for the Dutch GP, the fifth round of the 2024 season. Eight races have been completed and eight remain to be done. So far, the 2024 World Championship has been a fascinating spectacle, with four different winners in the first four rounds.
Ahead of the Motul TT Assen, Mattia Casadei (LCR E-Team) is leading the championship, but just barely. The Italian bounced back after the disappointing Catalan GP to take a win and second place at his home circuit of Mugello, giving him the championship lead, but compatriot Kevin Zannoni won Race 2 and secured second place just six points away. In the past, Casadei has achieved excellent results in Assen and aims to remain at the top of the standings after the Dutch round.
Behind them, we find the rookie Oscar Gutierrez and, paired with 88 points, Nicholas Spinelli and Hector Garzò.
