During the Dutch GP, Maria Herrera and Ramon Forcada, the former driver, the latter technical director, with the Forward team in MotoE, were interviewed by Misterhelmet on the electric championship, the women's championship, Moto2, MotoGP and the 2027 regulations. Twenty minutes of unbridled interview.

Maria Herrera: “Give me Moto2”. Ramon Forcada: “Give me solid state batteries and I'll drop 50 kg MotoE".
Original interviews about it are difficult to find MotoE, a category that is experiencing its sixth season but is still viewed with suspicion and distrust. This is why Misterhelmet's interview with Maria Herrera and Ramon Forcada is even more interesting. The two are pilots and technical directors of the Forward Racing team in the electric class of MotoGP.
In Moto2, Forward Racing is one of the two manufacturers, together with Boscoscuro, not to be part of the Kalex motorcycle line-up that dominates the starting grid of the world championship. For years, in fact, the Forward Racing team has been designing, developing and building its own Moto2 bikes independently. In MotoE instead, Forward Racing is a debuting team and for this reason it has decided to rely on the immense experience of Ramon Forcada, a technician famous for having supported riders such as Jorge Lorenzo, Franco Morbidelli and Andrea Dovizioso in MotoGP. The drivers, for the team's debut year in MotoE, are Maria Herrera, veteran with electric motorbikes, and Andrea Mantovani, winner of two races in 2023.

In the interview, Maria Herrera talks about MotoE, of her victorious debut in the women's world championship and of the love at first sight with the Moto2 that she had the opportunity to test recently. It turns out that Forcada puts her hand indiscriminately on the Ducati V21L of the world championship MotoE and develops a Derbi 50cc scooter for races in Spain. But we also discover a Forcada who is very knowledgeable about the development of electrical technologies, so much so that he outlines what his would be like MotoE: solid state batteries, 50kg less weight and 200HP motor.
