Winter has passed and the 2025 season of MotoE is ready to kick off this weekend with the French GP at Le Mans. Garzò, Casadei, Gutierrez, Ferrari and Granado are preparing to write a new chapter in the MotoGP electric class, but first, the MotoE World Championship riders carried out three test sessions on the French circuit.
This weekend, the iconic Le Mans circuit hosts the French GP. MotoE, the first round of the 2025 season of the MotoGP electric category. But first, the riders of the MotoE They have had three sessions to complete the pre-season tests that began last month in Barcelona.
In the first session, Jordi Torres (Power Electronics Aspar Team), was the fastest, ahead of Mattia Casadei (LCR E-Team) and Hector Garzò (Dynavolt Intact GP). For the latter, Le Mans was the first test session of 2025, having been injured on the first lap of testing in Barcelona.
In the following session, Mattia Casadei took the lead. The Italian rider's best time was faster than the track record set last year by Hector Garzò. At the end of the session, Casadei preceded Andrea Mantovani (Klint Forward Team) and Eric Granado (LCR E-Team).
The third and final session of the day took place on a wet track. The times were higher than in the other two sessions and some riders preferred not to go out on track. Among the riders who took part in the session, the fastest was once again Jordi Torres, ahead of Matteo Ferrari (Felo Gresini Racing) and Nicholas Spinelli (Rivacold Snipers Team MotoE).
