The first day of activity in Jerez was very positive for the two riders of Team Octo Pramac. Alex De Angelis easily got the top 10, while Josh Hook ended the day in thirteenth position in the combined session. De Angelis set his best time in the FP1 on the sixth lap (1:49.119) achieving the eighth position. The Australian rider also performed better in the FP1 with the time of 1:49.585, very close to the top 10.

Alex De Angelis
“It was a positive day: in the FP2 we made the choice to mount new tyres, while someone preferred to keep them for tomorrow, so we cannot make a real comparison. We made some changes on the front fork, and I'm extremely satisfied and optimistic about the work done."

“Today it was a bit more complicated for us, we still have some changes to make but I am very positive. We have not changed the tyres in the FP2, we will do it tomorrow in FP3. The bike is now doing very well and I think the result does not show the real progress we have made. We are going in the right direction and I am very confident for tomorrow."
