The results of the Q2 of the Austrian GP at the Red Bull Ring

Q2 began with a first quartet to enter the track composed by Aegerter, the two Tech3 riders and Ferrari. On the contrary, the LCR E-Team duo decided to leave the pits together to face the Austrian qualifying session.
The first to take the lead is Matteo Ferrari, with the time of 1:42.104. After a few seconds it was Granado's turn to set the best laptime with 1:42.024. Ferrari continued to push and taking advantage of Aegerter's slipstream and he lowered the best laptime down to 1:41.670.
Ferrari's leadership did not last long because, a few seconds later, first Casadei and then Granado lowered the best time to 1:41.390. In the following laps, Aegerter, Ferrari and Casadei continued to record very fast laps, but not fast enough to lower Granado's record.
Very fast last lap for everyone but no one can improve his time except Kevin Zannoni who, with a wirn tire on the front, managed to set the 4th best time and overtaked Aegerter.
Best rookie of the day was Alex Escrig (Tech3 E-Racing) with the ninth place.
Absent Alessio Finello (FELO Gresini MotoE), the Italian rider was taken to LKH Judenburg Hospital for the fracture of his right foot during the FP1.
