The MotoE World Cup 2020 started very well for Dominique Aegerter who conquered his first historic victory after dominating the EPole and all free practice sessions.
The ruler of the weekend ran a race full of twists. Aegerter crossed the finish line with 2,688 seconds ahead of Jordi Torres and Mattia Casadei, third.

Dominique Aegerter
“We worked really hard as everything is still pretty new to me and for sure it was good to have two consecutive weekends here at Jerez, to improve the riding, the bike. I was super nervous last night, I was overthinking everything because I knew I had a good pace but the race is so short so you need to be absolutely 200% concentrated. I had a good start but in the first two laps we had a big battle and I just tried to remain first. My pace was fantastic so I managed to achieve this first win, which makes me super happy. Big thanks to all my team and sponsors. I am happy to go home now after these long two weeks. I hope the fans enjoyed the show from home."
