Ambitious goals fuel the Swiss rider Dominique Aegerter ahead of the third round of the 2021 season of the MotoE. For the Catalunya Grand Prix, the goal of the Dynavolt Intact GP team is nothing less than the top step of the podium.

After an intense preparation and commitment in the Supersport world championship, the thirty-year-old Aegerter returns to challenge his main rivals for the title in MotoE: Mattia Casadei and Alessandro Zaccone. The Swiss rider's goal is to win after narrowly missing the podium at Le Mans.

“This weekend, we're heading to a track that is completely new for the championship. Never before has anyone ridden an Energica Ego Corsa MotoE machine in Barcelona. For me personally, Barcelona is of course not new, as I know the track very well from my time in the 125cc and Moto2 classes. Last winter I did training on a supersport motorcycle, so I feel pretty safe on the circuit.
I'm looking forward to the weekend as it will be very interesting to see how the bike works in terms of set-up and tyres on this track. The weather should also be great, I'm very well prepared, so everything should be in order to have a successful weekend. I am very happy to see my team again. Our goal is to be at the forefront already in all the practice sessions and of course, I hope to be right in the podium fight again. I would also like to take this opportunity to express my condolences to Jason Dupasquier's family, friends and team once more. I dedicated my first Supersport victory to him last weekend and I wish everyone a lot of strength during this difficult time."
