In the San Marino GP of the MotoE at Misano, Nicholas Spinelli takes the victory in Race 2. The HP Pons Los40 team rider precedes Hector Garzò and the new World Champion, Mattia Casadei.

Race 2 of the MotoE of the San Marino GP at Misano – After the excitement of race 1 in which Casadei won the title of 2023 MotoE World Champion, in race 2, it was the turn of the other HP Pons Los40 team rider to gain to the top step of the podium.
At the start, the Sito Pons team duo immediately took the lead of the race, gaining a few tenths on their pursuers, led by Garzò. After a couple of laps, the Dynavolt Intact GP team rider started to make up ground, moving close to the two Italian riders. Spinelli's attack on Casadei forced the new world champion to go wide, leaving room for Garzò to pass. For Garzò, today's victory was worth second place in the general classification while for Spinelli it was his first victory in MotoE in its debut year. With these premises, the two leaders fought hard to gain the lead of the race.

With two laps to go, Casadei entered the fight again and regained the lead of the race. Casadei's one-two at Misano, however, faded after a few corners, when first Spinelli and then Garzò overtook him. In the very last corners Spinelli reached a sufficient margin to protect himself from possible attacks from Garzò, thus crossing the finish line first and taking home the first victory of his career in MotoE.
Second place was not enough for Garzò to overtake Torres and Ferrari in the general classification, who thus confirmed themselves second and third behind Casadei in the championship.
For Andrea Migno, after just two days on the MotoE bike, finished race two in fourteenth place, gaining two points in the general standings.
Eric Granado and Kevin Manfredi crashed in the first part of the race; the two rejoined the race without consequences.
In addition to the victory in the two Misano races and the riders' title, the HP Pons Los40 team also won the teams' title, ahead of the Dynavolt IntactGP MotoE team and to the Italian team Felo Gresini MotoE.
