Kevin Manfredi renews with Sic58 Squadra Corse for the 2024 MotoE season. Paolo Simoncelli's team thus continues its journey with the Italian rider in the electric class of MotoGP for the second year. Alongside him, we will find another Italian rider, Massimo Roccoli, making his debut on the V21L, the MotoE of Ducati.

Italian rider Kevin Manfredi will continue to race for the Sic58 Squadra Corse in the 2024 MotoE World Championship after a positive 2023 with Paolo Simoncelli's team.
Manfredi finished the 2023 MotoE season in tenth position, coming close to winning on two occasions at Mugello and Silverstone. On both occasions, in the rain, the Italian rider finished in second place. After these podiums, Manfredi and Sic58 decided by mutual agreement to extend their collaboration for the entire 2024 season, thus using 2023 as an apprenticeship period to aim for their first victory in MotoE.
Kevin Manfredi will therefore race his third MotoGP season, MotoE class, after the 2022 edition with the Pramac team and 2023 with the Sic58 Squadra Corse.

Alongside Manfredi, Paolo Simoncelli has chosen Massimo Roccoli, a vastly experienced rider who has six Italian titles to his credit in the Supersport category and several seasons in WSSP. Roccoli had already had the opportunity to ride a MotoE in 2022 when he replaced the injured Jordi Torres at Mugello. At the time, the bike was the Energica Ego Corsa, while in 2024, Roccoli will ride the Ducati V21L for the first time.
Kevin Manfredi and Massimo Roccoli will begin their 2024 season in February, when the electric MotoGP class tests at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve from February 21-23, followed by another test at the same venue on March 21. Two fundamental tests for the MotoE series which will race for the first time in Portugal, for the opening of the 2024 season scheduled in Portimao from 22 to 24 March 2024.

“It was in the air and there was interest on both sides to continue together. During these months we have worked and managed to find an agreement. It will be very important for me to continue here, having an already proven team at my side, we will be able to concentrate exclusively on work on the track, without having to experiment anymore. It is an honor to wear the colors of SIC58 again and represent this name around the world. I can't wait to get on track for the first tests and enjoy every single race weekend! We have good potential and we must make the most of it."

Massimo Roccoli (Sic58 Squadra Corse)
“I am very happy to be able to start this new adventure, which certainly represents a great challenge. I tried a MotoE in the world championship race at Mugello in 2022, and now some things are different, and the championship is certainly of an even higher level. I have known Paolo Simoncelli since his minibike days, when both Marco and I took our first steps into the world of motorcycle racing, so I am grateful for the opportunity of this new challenge. I'm excited to work with Marco Grana who I think is an excellent crew chief, one of the best. I can't wait to get on mine MotoE! Special thanks go to Andrea, Gianni and Paolo for making all this possible."
